Below is a brief breakdown of cryptocurrency investments
Zucoins are not shares.
Zucoins do not retain any rights or entitlements usually associated with shares in a company.
Zucoins are held in secure wallets and not on any central registry as required by shares.
Zucoins have unique identifiers (I.E. private keys) recorded in the SplitChain to secure the value and number of Zucoins.
Zucoins do not record entities or personal names in the SplitChain. Only the unique identifiers are recorded.
Actual ownership of the Zucoins or the wallets holding the Zucoins is a matter for the person with access to the unique identifiers to make such a declaration.
As there is no register recording any entity or personal names in the SplitChain (this is the same for all cryptocurrencies), it is important that the person with access to the wallet or Zucoins identifiers makes declarations of ownership if it is intended for a superannuation fund to own the Zucoins.
All Zucoins will be issued to a mobile phone number in a secure wallet. The onus is on the person responsible for access to the wallet of Zucoins identifiers to disclose the Zucoins ownership based on their own financial requirements when reporting.
