Zucoins is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency that is the native exchange token on the SplitChain network.
The SplitChain network propagates and returns cached information across network nodes to users so that they can perform transaction validation.
Information is stored as individual transactions and used as pieces of agreed proofs—no “blocks”, like in blockchain. Instead, transactions are maintained independently and stored within the Zucoin wallet.
There are no “miners”, no fees, and transactions occur in real-time.
The user’s wallet app stores their transactions history and other related states, such as contacts, wallet addresses, etc, locally on their devices.
The Zucoin wallet is self-managed, or “non-custodial”, allowing users to manage their own data.
In simple terms, Zucoins can be considered a digital wallet that can transfer value electronically.
