The unencrypted backup file will store your private key, wallet address, contacts and transaction history up until the point of the backup.
Every time you do a backup, a new backup file is created, each backup is unique and does not overwrite past copies.
For each backup, the file name includes the date/time of download and the first ten characters of the wallet address.
Please note: the backup file is for the Zucoins wallet app to open and read; the file does not need to be opened or read outside the app. If the file is altered in anyway, the Zucoins wallet will not be able to read it.
Restoring a backup
When you restore a wallet backup, it will reload past transactions, and contacts entered before the backup.
Any transactions after the backup will not be restored.
The SplitChain network has your true balance, it will update your wallet with your latest balance based on the latest two transactions – the network only holds your last 2x transactions for validation.
